Husker Red was the head of the Red Blades, a criminal organization in the town of Badwall, manned by family and close associates. (Husker never had what one might consider, “friends.”) He was an evil-tempered, mean-spirited man, who saw the world only in what he could wring from it.
Elven women were a particular weakness of Husker’s, and he sired scores of bastards from them. An inveterate racist, he had a tendency to “use up” these maidens at an alarming rate, but his men would always bring another before the week was out.
Husker did not age gracefully, a hard life took its toll, and his temper grew worse with his infirmities. Canto, one of his bastards, finally killed the old man, pinning him (through the heart) to his sick-bed with Husker’s own broadsword.
