Busy, possibly elven seamstress
Sylene seems to have elven blood in her, but she claims to be human. Her ears are fiercely pointed, she is tiny and frail, and she speaks with a foreign accent that many assume to be elven.
Sylene is an unmarried seamstress whose home and shop are in the northernmost part of the city. She is best known for her outerwear—cloaks, jackets, and cold-weather clothing for sailors. She also makes warm woolen socks.
The seamstress is on very good terms with the other tailors and seamstresses in the city. She visits each of them weekly, as well as the dyers, cutters, and haberdashers. How Sylene’s visits leave any time for work is a puzzle that no one thinks about.
